A House of Record is a keeper observed holding a complete Helix formation — one living citizen of each of the eight forms. A keeper holding the eight seats twice over fields a second formation of the same House, not a second House. Formations shown are provisional: no keeper has designated a standing formation, so the Office gives precedence within each seat to the most distinguished eligible citizen.
18 houses presently stand in the Helix record.
