Methodology

Observe first. Reconstruct only by rule.

The Office ingests Crucible events and NFT transfers from Ethereum, stores their canonical identity, and reduces them through a versioned ruleset. A passage record is never assembled from display copy alone.

Direct chain observations and deterministic reconstructions are labeled separately. If required evidence is absent, the Office says so instead of filling the gap.

Terms used in the register.

Passage

An observed Crucible event in which one citizen returns and another is unwritten.

Survivor

The living citizen whose mutable state may change.

Unwritten

The consumed citizen whose final known state remains in the archive.

Remember

One or more legal graftable memories crossed during the passage.

Forget

The passage carried no graftable memory; Slain still increases.

Doctrine

A deterministic classification derived from passage counters and House relationships.

Finalized

The Office has observed enough confirmations to seal the record against ordinary reorganization risk.

Unofficial, observational, and read-only.
